We bought my dress at Ross. It originally had no sleeves and was floor length, but I cut the bottom off and my talented mother made them into sleeves. Genius. The most comfortable dress I've worn so far! My mother is amazing.
Homecoming was on October 4th, and I had a blast! All of the girls met up at my house to get ready before the boys and all of the parents came to take pictures. So. Many. Pictures.
This is my date. His name is Tyrell. I know, he gets teased for his black name. It's quite hilarious. And he was so awesome! He never judged my crazy dancing and was the perfect gentlemen. Party party.
The boys didn't tell us one detail of our plans for the night. We had no idea what we would be doing. We ended up going to Wingers for dinner which was delicious! The boys had set up the table with a nice red tablecloth, rose petals, candles, and a balloon on each chair. So fancy.
The group. We're smokin hot.
We're also extremely awkward.
After dinner we went to the dance! Our Homecoming theme was The Greatest Show On Earth, or Circus themed. And you know me, dancing like always. We stayed at the dance for a couple of hours before the boys started giving each other looks saying we should go. All of the girls were still anxious about the activities that were waiting for us after the dance.
We ended up at the church. Inside the gym, the basketball court had been split in half- one side had been made into a life size Clue gameboard, the other side was a game that involved pushing big blocks of ice with push brooms. We played life size Clue and the ice game for a while before couples started to leave, and then I came home! Overall, it was the best Homecoming ever! It was a fun night filled with food, laughs, and ridiculous dancing. My kind of party.
